According to statistics, South Africa exported roughly 4.2 million tons of iron ore in June, going up by 1.4% from the previous month.

Among them, China was the main destination with approximately 1.3 million tons, followed by South Korea (with 420,000 tons), Japan (with 240,000 tons), and the Netherlands (with 230,000 tons).

Although South African iron ore exports have generally bounced back from a slump, it has not exported iron ore to the Indian market for the past three months.
