Taiwan’s HDG imports increase in May

In May, Taiwan’s hot-dipped galvanized (HDG) steel imports were about 15,000 tons, increasing by 12% compared to the previous month. Among them, the main import source was Japan, with about 8,100 tons.

The followings were Vietnam (soaring by more than double to about 4,800 tons), China (about 1,200 tons), and Thailand (about 660 tons). Compared to April, except for Vietnam, all other import countries showed a decline.
