The price of ferromolybdenum prices continued to rise. The current price in China has hiked by CNY 13,000/60 base ton in the recent month due to rising raw material prices. China’s molybdenum concentrate price also increased yesterday (August 3), up by CNY 110 from mid-July.

Taiwan’s upstream stainless steel mills, including Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco), have raised their prices of 316 products for two consecutive months. The price of 316 products was expected to continue to rise next month if the molybdenum price maintains stable.
