Taiwan’s stainless steel prices increase by strong nickel prices

According to the stainless steel market in Taiwan, Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco), a leading stainless steelmaker in Taiwan, announced to increase its stainless steel price by NT$5,000/ton from March 1st.

Among them, the main reason for the strong market price was benefited by the strong nickel price, and which caused other’ stainless steel mills to follow the increasing trend, such as Tang Eng Iron Works Co., Ltd. and Yieh Hsing Enterprise Co., Ltd.
