Taiwan’s stainless steel straight bar imports fall, exports rise in Jun

According to statistics from Customs, Taiwan’s stainless steel straight bar imports totaled 713 tons in June, 7.4% less than imports in the previous month.

Among them, imports from India accounted for 188 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 47.2%. South Korea ranked second with 184 tons, down by 15% month on month; followed by Japan with 133 tons, surging by 122% from last month.

In terms of exports, Taiwan exported around 480 tons of stainless steel straight bar in June, up by 2.4% from May. Of these, exports to Canada accounted for 21.3% of the total, with a volume of 102 tons, soaring by 96.2% month on month.
