Tang Eng again takes individual price negotiation for Aug

Tang Eng Iron Works Co., Ltd., one of Taiwan's main stainless steel manufacturers, announced last Friday (July 28) that the company will again take an individual negotiation for prices in August, referring to peer pricing and market conditions.

Tang Eng hasn’t announced prices for four consecutive months since May.

Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco), another major stainless steel mill in Taiwan, announced an increase in its prices for August. The domestic price of 304 products was hiked by NT$1,500/ton, 430 was kept flat, and the surcharge of 316L products was raised by NT$1,000/ton. The export price of 304 was raised by US$50/ton, and the 430 price and the surcharge of 316L were both hiked by US$30/ton.
