It was reported that Tata Steel has completely resumed its production as the domestic market demand was gradually recovering.

T. V. Narendran, Tata Steel's CEO and Managing Director, said that the second-quarter steel demand in India has rebounded driven by some positive factors, and the steel needs from its customers in the automobile and home appliance industries have grown.

Tata Steel and some other Indian steel mills suspended their production capacity by 50% in April this year due to the prevention and control measures for the COVID-19 epidemic.
