Toyota to reduce vehicle production in North America in Jan

It was reported that Toyota expected to reduce its production of vehicles by 40,000-50,000 units in North America in January due to the continued shortage of chips.
Toyota has cut its vehicle production by 305,000-385,000 units in North America since August owing to the severe insufficient supply of semiconductors and other materials.
Toyota said that the automobile industry is still facing global supply chain problems and the short supply of semiconductor chips.
