According to statistics released by the State Customs Service of Ukraine, in the first 11 months of this year, Ukraine imported around 4.7 million tons of bauxite, slightly growing by 0.2% compared to the same period a year ago. The import value had a year-on-year increase of 2.8% to US$214.1 million.

Among them, the imports were mainly from Guinea, totaling 3.34 million tons, followed by Brazil’s 697,000 tons and Guyana’s 599,000 tons.

In November alone, Ukraine imported 490,000 tons of bauxite, a month-on-month hike of 53.1% and a year-on-year increase of 28.6%.
