US’ CRC imports rise in Feb

According to the final Census Bureau data from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US imported around 98,000 tons of cold-rolled flat products in February, rising by 81% compared to the previous month and also hiking by 24.3% from the same month a year earlier.

Among them, the imports from Canada accounted for the largest proportion, totaling roughly 40,200 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 4.04% and a year-on-year increase of 6.3%. Other import sources included Australia (around 15,500 tons), Sweden (around 8,500 tons), Germany (around 8,200 tons), and Mexico (around 7,900 tons).
