On September 8, 2023, the US International Trade Commission (USITC) announced its determination that revoking the existing anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders on aluminum foil from China would be likely to lead to the continuation or recurrence of material injury to the US domestic industry within a reasonably foreseeable time.

Due to the USITC’s affirmative determinations, the existing AD orders on imports of subject goods from China will continue to be effective.

There were five Commissioners, including the Chairman, who voted in the affirmative.
