US’ primary aluminum production keeps flat in Oct 2020

According to the latest statistics from the US Geological Survey, the US produced around 75,000 tons of primary aluminum in October 2020, with a daily average output of 2,430 tons, keeping flat compared to the previous month, while reducing by 17% from the same month in 2019.

During the reporting period, the aluminum output recycled from aluminum scrap was 277,000 tons, slightly dropping from the previous month and also sliding by 3% from October 2019.

Among them, 150,000 tons were recycled from new aluminum scrap and 127,000 tons were from old aluminum scrap.
