Affected by the short supply, the US cold-rolled stainless steel sheet price rose further by US$60~100/ton in February. Stimulated by this, US stainless steel mills increased their prices for the base and alloy surcharge.

According to the producers in the US, the scheduled shipment was at 90 to 120 days. If the chip shortage problem is solved, the demand for automobiles will boost. Then, the stainless steel demand will be supportive and rise.

Generally, customers do not mind paying high prices to ensure the supply of materials as long as they can obtain the stainless steel materials.
