Hoa Phat Group announced its domestic steel sales reaching 522,000 tons, hitting a record high, including 352,000 tons of finished steel and 170,000 tons of steel billet, up by 82.3% from the same period last year.

The export quantity was 62,700 tons, which doubled from a year ago.

Hoa Phat's crude steel output was over 4 million tons in the first nine months of this year, two times the figure in 2019. Among them, it was around 2.5 million tons of finished steel, and the remaining was steel billet and hot-rolled coil.

The group's domestic sales to the Southern region had double growth to nearly 600,000 tons from January to September, mainly to support public projects such as expressway, power plant, port construction, and hospital development.
