ArcelorMittal to boost steel sales with carbon emission reduction certificates

The EU steel manufacturers are promoting steel sales by using carbon emission reduction certificates and voluntary emission reductions, combined with the decarbonization investment.
Among them, the European largest steel mill ArcelorMittal sold around 100,000 tons of steel products with carbon emission reduction certificates in 2021, mainly attributed to the decarbonization investment.
ArcelorMittal also launched several low carbon emission steel products under the brand of XCarb, seeking other renewable energy and saying that there is customer interest in green steel.
