Citigroup raised aluminum prices for 2022, predicting that the LME spot aluminum price will surge to US$3,400/ton in the next 0-3 months and stabilize at US$3,000-3,100/ton in the next 6-12 months.

The adjustment in price forecast was due to global lower-than-expected average aluminum inventories in 2021-2023.
