According to statistics, China’s bauxite imports were roughly 10.75 million tons in August this year, increasing by 1.52% compared to the preceding month and by 24.2% from the same month a year ago.

Among them, Guinea was the largest supplier, exporting 6.257 million tons of bauxite to China, a month-on-month increase of 5.39% and a year-on-year hike of 44.9%.
