China’s crude stainless steel output goes up in Jul

According to statistics, the output of crude stainless steel from China’s 32 stainless steel mills totaled around 2.7 million tons in July, up by 7.68% compared to the previous month and 2% from the same month a year ago.

Among them, the output of 200 series had a month-on-month increase of 2.42% and a year-on-year decrease of 14.86% to 868,000 tons; that of 300 series had a month-on-month increase of 12.04% and a year-on-year hike of 12.69% to roughly 1.39 million tons; that of 400 series had a month-on-month rise of 5.47% and a year-on-year growth of 11.85% to approximately 450,000 tons.
