Global alumina production grows in 2020

According to statistics released by the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), global alumina production totaled around 11.8 million tons in December 2020, hiking by 4% compared to 11.38 million tons in the previous month and also growing by 5.06% from the same month in 2019.
In 2020, global alumina production reached 134 million tons, which increased by 1.41% from 132 million tons in 2019.
