LME aluminium benchmark price dwindles by US$45.5/t; SHFE price gains US$17/t

The previous trading day, LME aluminium opened at US$2,519.5 per tonne, reached a high of US$2,523.5 per tonne, a low of US$2,476.5 per tonne, and closed at US$2,507.5 per tonne, down US$15.5 per tonne, a decrease of 0.61 per cent.

On Monday, June 17, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price declined by US$45.5 per tonne or 1.84 per cent and 1.82 per cent to clock at US$2,419.50 per tonne and US$2,420 .50 per tonne.

As per the LME aluminium price graph, both 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price slumped by US$44 per tonne or 1.73 per cent and US$43 per tonne or 1.69 per cent to peg at US$2,485 per tonne and US$2,487 per tonne.

December 25 bid price and December 25 offer price contracted by US$37 per tonne or 1.39 per cent to dock at US$2,618 per tonne and US$2,623 per tonne. On the same day, 3-month Asian Reference Price descended by US$52.5 per tonne or 2.06 per cent to reach US$2,429.36 per tonne.

LME aluminium opening stock came in at 1073950 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants settled at 484425 tonnes and 589525 tonnes.
